The Process

We have a simple 6-stage process to get your idea from inside your head to having its own proud place on the web, available for the world to see.

  • A first meeting to get to know each other better. We’ll find out why you want a website and what we will put in place to get there.

  • We’ll take a look at what your competitors are doing, as well as get a taste for what you like and dislike in a website.

  • Now the fun starts. The trackable project board is set up. The scope is finalised defining what’s included and what’s not. The site structure is outlined and you’ll get your first look at what your new website will look like.

  • The build starts and you’re kept in the loop the whole way. You’ll review page-by-page and have plenty of chances to provide feedback.

  • Every link is checked on your site. Your website is tested in all major browsers and on mobile devices too.

  • The final tweaks are made in order to launch your site and you can sit back, marvel at your new website and share it with your friends and customers.

  • Almost any type of business can host their website on Squarespace, given its vast array of features and flexibility.

    Squarespace is particularly well-suited to small-medium businesses and those within the health and wellness industry, as well as other appointment-based businesses such as therapy, hairdressing, yoga schools, massage, counselling, etc.

    It's also possible to create an online store on Squarespace.

  • This question is asked a lot and unfortunately, there's no straight answer, as it's a bit of a "how long's a piece of string?" question.

    It doesn't take much effort to find out the figure though. Tenji Digital's efficient process will let you know early on whether we are a right fit for each other and save any time being wasted.

  • To keep your website online, there are two essential expenses you’ll need to pay for.

    • Squarespace Subscription: This payment is for your Squarespace to host your website. It can be paid monthly, but you save much more money by paying annually. This cost starts from £144 (+ VAT) for the year on the basic plan, up to £420 for the full commerce plan for large stores. Regardless of which plan you take, Tenji Digital can get you 20% off your first year.

    • Domain name: Your domain name is what users will type into their web browser to get to your website. Domain names purchased from Squarespace are typically around £15-£20/year. Depending on what Squarespace plan you choose, you may get your first year free.

    • TenjiConnect Subscription (optional): If you want to sit back and let Tenji Digital look after every element of your website, then this subscription is for you. You'll pay an agreed monthly fee depending on your requirements and you'll never have to make any changes yourself to your website again.

    There may also be some additional expenses if you're using Acuity Scheduling, Squarespace's marketing campaigns or signed up for Google Workspace for professional email addresses.

  • The short answer is 3-4 weeks for a basic website (4-5 pages), once the requirements are established. Of course, there are many caveats to this, including the size of the website, how quickly content such as copy, images and videos are provided, the speed of any feedback requested and my availability.

    The truth is, I've had small site builds take months, whilst large sites have been built in just a couple of weeks.
