The Benefits of Working with a Squarespace Circle Member

Did you know it’s possible to receive numerous benefits from a Squarespace power user? In this article we’re going to see how Squarespace super-users, also known as Squarespace Circle members, can pass their benefits down to you and your Squarespace website.

What is Squarespace Circle?

Squarespace Circle is a collection of Squarespace power-users, those who consistently build numerous websites on the platform. For the most part they are website designers, like us here at Tenji Digital. Tom, here at Tenji Digital, has been a proud supporter of Squarespace, and a Squarespace Cirlce member for many years. As a result, Tenji Digital receives many benefits for the programme, most of which aren’t of any use to you, as the end the user, but there are some huge benefits that we, as web designers can pass on.

Which benefits can be passed on to me?

In order to receive these benefits, your website but be created by someone with a Squarespace Circle membership. For example, if you started your own website, or already have an existing website, then want to add a Circle Member for their benefits, you will not get them.

Six-month trial periods: This benefit is great. For a non-Circle Member, if they create a new website, Squarespace will only give you 2 weeks to trial the platform. After which, the platform will lock down and you can no longer edit your site until you purchase a Squarespace subscription. Circle Members have the luxury of a 6 month trial period. This provides so much more breathing room when working with clients.
Hint: Squarespace will almost always extend your 2-week trial period if you ask their support team nicely.

20% off the first annual website subscriptions: Another huge benefit is the cost-saving when it comes to choosing your subscription. For non-circle members in the UK, with a basic website, you’ll pay £144 every year. With Circle Member benefits, you’ll get your first year for £115.20. The saving is even greater if you’re starting a eCommerce store on Squarespace:

  • Non-Circle Member price: £276 each year

  • Circle Member price: £220.80 first year, £276 following

20% off annual Email Campaigns, Member Areas, and Scheduling: Much like the above, you can also receive Circle Member discounts on Squarespace’s other native in-built subscription services for the first year.

Early access to new features: Circle Members receive access to new features long before they are released to the general public. These can be used on your live website.

Insider knowledge: The final benefit is that Circle Members have access to a number of product webinars, newsletters and forums where Squarespace work very closely with the Circle Community. Although some of the information Circle Members receive cannot be discussed outside of the community, anything that can, can be passed onto you, meaning your website can be as well planned and, as future-proofed as possible.
